Lincoln Property Company and CEE investor Fidurock are pleased to announce the successful closing of the first two real estate acquisitions in Slovakia. The first project is a recently completed retail park located within the main shopping area of Senica. The second project is the Saratov shopping center located in Bratislava. The recent emergence in Slovakia of institutional and strategically-located retail parks and convenience shopping centers has made this sector particularly attractive as a sector for future and sustainable growth. The forecast for future years is also positive, both for the Slovak and Czech markets.
Lincoln Property Company will be responsible for the asset management of both projects together with the existing portfolio of retail parks located in Liberec and Tábor in the Czech Republic. The value of the portfolio of around € 38 million will be soon expanded by the planned acquisitions of additional retail parks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
“We use experienced international property companies to manage our retail assets. We have established strong business relationships with Lincoln Property Company as we consider them as one of the best in the industry,” says David Hauerland, executive director of Fidurock. “We have chosen the Slovak market after conducting a thorough analysis, which shows that the sector is developing well and retail parks can offer very attractive and sustainable returns. We believe we will continue with successful acquisitions throughout 2018”, adds David Hauerland.
